Privacy Policy

This page explains what we collect, why, and how to make us delete it. We collect very little, because we do not need much to publish research.

What We Collect

• Analytics data — pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, device and browser type, all in aggregate. We use it to see which pages are read.
• Email correspondence — if you email us, we keep the message and your address for as long as needed to deal with it.
• Technical logs — standard server and CDN logs, including IP addresses, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.

We do not ask for or store payment details, gambling account credentials, identity documents, or date of birth. We have no account system and there is nothing to log into.

Affiliate Links And Tracking

When you click through to an operator, that link carries a tracking identifier so the operator can attribute the referral to us. It tells them a visitor arrived from this site. It does not pass them your name, email, or anything you have not given them yourself. Once you are on the operator's site, their privacy policy governs, not ours — and their data practices are not something we can vouch for.

Who We Share With

Our analytics provider, our hosting and CDN provider, and the affiliate networks that operate the tracking links. We do not sell personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Your Rights

California residents have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what is held, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it. Readers in the UK and EU have equivalent rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of them, email editor@manipediplussanfrancisco.com; we will respond within the statutory period and will not charge you or make the site worse for asking.

Retention And Security

Analytics data is kept in aggregate. Email is kept while a matter is open and for a reasonable period after. Server logs rotate quickly. The site is served over HTTPS. No transmission is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise.

Children

This site is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
